Are You Noctambulous?

Dictionary.com’s Word of the Day is
noctambulous: of, relating to, or given to sleepwalking. http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/2015/08/01

I have suffered with this for a long while… Waking up on the couch with no blanket… In January. Or I’ve confronted my parents about the lack of “fun” in my room.  Of course, the fun part is when I don’t remember any of it, and am puzzled by their questions in the morning. 🙂  What about you?  Are you noctambulous?

  1. So you sleep walk! My brother used to sleep walk and my mother sometimes followed him all over the house. He was completely unaware. So weird. I don’t want to scare you, but I heard on the news once that a woman was driving her camper to their next destination while her sleep walking husband was in the camper. Unbeknownst to her, he started sleep walking while she was driving and he fell out of the trailer and she kept on driving. I never heard if they found him. BE CAREFUL!!!

  2. Yes, I have heard that people often do grow out of it. I didn’t realize you only talked in your sleep. That’s good. That can be funny, actually. 🙂

  3. When I was a kid I saw evidence of sleepwalking in my room:
    – windows that were open at bedtime were closed by morning
    – different pyjamas were on at morning that were not on the night before

I’m told I talked in my sleep too but neither happens now. Thankfully!
