    1. Aw, thanks! Yup, good job! Inspiron 1501. My dad had it lying around so I helped him rebuild it with Windows 7 Professional. Video card isn’t great, but meets my needs. 🙂

      1. Yeah, when I first got in this business 17 years ago, you needed a new machine every time a new version of Windows came out. (sometimes office) Nowadays, one even several years old is fine. Especially if you throw a bit more memory and maybe a bigger drive in it.

I can’t count how many of my customer’s old machines, laptops and desktops, that they’ve given me and I do just like your Dad. 🙂

I just sold a laptop last week for 150 bucks. This PC I’m typing this on is from customer parts and my WEB-SERVER is a ten year old HP desktop. That pic is on the machine in the pic 🙂

    1. Haha, thanks! He’s an IT guy and if a client’s laptop is broken enough that he recommends getting a new one, they sometimes give him the unusable one. Then, he tries to resuscitate it. 🙂 I love working with computers so I usually ask to help, and he teaches me in the process. I love it. 🙂

    1. Hey, A! I am doing well! I get to go to the park with a lot of our homeschooled friends every Friday afternoon so I am looking forward to that. 🙂
      How are you?

      1. Ahhh, sounds like fun. Hope you have a blast!

I’m doing well today. I’m cloud nine every Friday, well, because it’s Friday!!! 😀

Seriously though, I’m feeling pretty great today. Some big decisions I needed to make are unfolding nicely and I have no one but God to thank for His guiding hand and many blessings. So I feel blessed right now.

Have yourself a great weekend. Hugs 🌷 ☺
