July 25 — Downcasting

I put on a mask so you can’t see
What I have
What I am
Who I am.

I’m hiding so well
Just one of the crowd
I smile with my eyes
But my heart is down-

Casting my cares on Him,
Or denying their importance
I can’t tell the difference right now.

Poem from the summer / picture from the semester
