Why Do I Blog?

“Both poetry and photography are art forms; poetry is painting with words while photographs capture the beauty of Creation, both stir the emotions.” -Gabriel Gonzalez

*story time*

A long time ago, I started this blog so I could follow my blogging friends.

I didn’t do much with it.

However, somewhere along the line, something clicked.

I started writing on it once in a while and discovered a loving community of fellow bloggers who share my passions, whether it be photography, politics, life assessments, poetry, or God’s Word.

My blog is now something I use to serve and glorify my Lord and Savior, be it with photography, poetry, “normal(?)” writing, and/or whatever else He puts on my heart to use.

Thank you to all of my 400+  followers for supporting and encouraging me with your likes and wonderful comments! 🙂

May the Lord bless you with His presense + shalom 🙂

    – “The Visitor . . . [is] . . . a truism that big things come in small packages.” Chad (5 Stars)

I’d love to know what you think about it.

    1. Wow, thank you! My dad got me into photography when I was little and I finally have a camera that lets me experiment and go crazy! 🙂 Phone cameras are getting better and better nowadays, so only phone pictures aren’t always a bad thing.

      1. Then I will make the announcement that “Squid” won and will be accepting the book (and I’ll link to your blog if that’s ok).

And the sooner you respond to the needed info in the email the sooner I can get the book shipped to you.

        Congrats again.

          1. Since I didn’t receive your mailing address before I left this morning, as I mentioned in my email, I will not be able to ship it till I return from Colorado. And Monday is a holiday. So I can ship it Tuesday. 🙂

  3. For someone so young, I can see that creative right brain coming at me with your words. We’re on opposite ends of the age spectrum, but I look forward to reading more of your work. Keep it up!

    1. Thank you so much for! Hehe, my right brain has really found a voice through this blog, but usually I’m more left-brained and analytical. There’s a cooperation there, just like there needs to be one between both ends of the age spectrum 🙂
Welcome to this wonderful journey of sipping on Squid’s Cup of Tea with me! I’m glad to have you along 🙂
