1, 1, 2, 3, 5…

To my fellow math geeks, Happy Fibonacci Day!!  Leonardo of Pisa (aka Fibonacci) is best known for a spectacular sequence of numbers, each the sum of the two previous.  From this website I found that the Fibonacci sequence is found prevalently in nature and used in computer programming, making it incredibly cool, right? 🙂  Also, today’s date is 11-23-15, and 1123 are the first 4 numbers in the sequence!!

Ironically, due to Thanksgiving, Mr. D Math doesn’t have a lesson for today, so I had make up for the lack of respect somehow! 🙂
