Where Am I Going From Here?

wp-image-1282374613jpeg.jpg

A year ago today, I posted this picture on my blog. ^^  under the title “Where Do I Go From Here?

The subjects are the directional keys on my previous laptop, the one that I had built with my dad years and years ago.  I was rather proud of how my quick pic turned out, and the post got a good deal of attention from my lovely followers. 🙂  Little did I know, but this antique trusty old Dell would be replaced at the turn of the school year, which was only about a month later.

Here I am, a year later, and I’m still using its replacement, a cheap but generally reliable ASUS.  It’s served me well, but the memories I have with its predecessor can never be replaced. 🙂

However, by the time this actually posts (I’m writing this ahead of time on Thursday night), I’ll be leaving Floridia and heading to Gah-jah as a halfway point between home and Ohaih.  So, the title actually fits rather well. except for the fact that you know where I’m going.

I also started Algebra II this Tuesday and I’m super pumped!!  I got a used TI-84 calculator and it is my new favorite thing!

It’s not connecting!
Keep troubleshooting in vain…
But Dad just fixed it!

Getting paid for work
That I would pay to help with.
My dad is awesome 🙂

Last weekend, I was able to help my dad set up a client’s network as they moved buildings.  I got to plug in so many computers… it was incredibly fun, but he is paying me a cut of what they’re paying him!  Yay!

Tomorrow, I’ll be working at Mr. D’s booth at the FPEA Homeschool Convention (booth 612!) and I’m so excited!!  I would pay him to let me volunteer there, but he’s going to pay me!  *pure ecstasy*

P.S. Did I already have a post titled similarly??  Please, someone, help me…

Quotes Challenge, Day 3 (plus extras)

Well, here we are.  It’s the last quotes challenge post.  Thanks for sticking with me this far, and I hope that you guys have enjoyed the quotes I’ve posted! If you want more, I have a page called Favorite Quotes and Bible Verses at the top of my blog that I add quotes to when I remember. 🙂  Have you guys noticed the extra fourth quote I’ve been adding as the featured image at the top of these posts?  You have? Have you? (thanks, Grammarly) Good!  I realized I could bend the rules a bit by doing that. 😉

Before we get to the quotes and nominations, I have exciting news!  I aced my open-book second-semester math exam!  I did Mr. D Math this year and now I’m done with Algebra I forever!  Next year I’ll be taking Geometry with the same program because I heartily recommend it to anyone, whether they struggle with math or it’s their favorite thing ever (or anywhere in-between).

Also, today’s date is a palindrome!  6-1-16 (minus the dashes) is 6116 and I have smiled every time I’ve written it on schoolwork today. 🙂 I’m smiling just typing that out!  So, this is an unofficial math day because of that.

Now, our feature presentation. *really old Disney intro music*

who says converseyou'll get run overmlkj quote

The Converse picture was made by my artistic sister who knows me way too well. 🙂 (That is my foot too, BTW). I have done that before too… to church. *shocked gasps* 🙂

My final nominees are…

  1. Joy the cherry tree poet. 🙂
  2. Teddy’s New Bear
  3. Paul (though I’d like to see Paulo do it too!)

That’s all folks! *tosses away carrot* (tacit Looney June reference, Paul!)
